Spello — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Spello is a word game for children. We designed it to be private by default.

What we collect

Nothing. Spello does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising services of any kind.

No network

Spello works fully offline. The app makes no network connections and sends no data off your device.

What stays on your device

Your game progress — stars, completed themes, badges, and settings — is saved only on your device (in the app’s local storage). It never leaves the device. Deleting the app removes it. “Reset All Progress” in Settings (behind a grown-up gate) erases it at any time.

Children’s privacy

Spello is intended for children and complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements. Because we collect no data and provide no external links, in-app purchases, or advertising, there is nothing to share with anyone.

Third parties

There are no third-party SDKs, trackers, ad networks, or analytics in Spello.
